Product Description
Heavy Tungsten Alloy Pots are made of tungsten matrix (usually 80% to 98% tungsten) with a small amount of nickel, iron, copper, cobalt, molybdenum, chromium and other elements The density of high gravity tungsten alloy can reach 15.20~18.70g/cm3, which is also called high gravity tungsten alloy or high density alloy material Because the weight of tungsten alloy is more than twice that of steel.
Tungsten alloy has a series of excellent properties, high specific gravity: General specific gravity 16.5-18.75g/cm3, high strength: tensile strength 700-1000mpa, strong light absorption capacity: 30-40% higher than general lead ratio, high thermal conductivity: mold is 5 times that of steel, low coefficient of thermal expansion: only 1/2-1/3 of steel, good conductivity, good welding and cutting performance.
The common method of preparing heavy tungsten alloys is to mix the required amount of tungsten, iron, nickel or copper powder, and then cold press and liquid phase sintering to near full density. In the liquid phase treatment, the matrix tungsten alloy melts, part of tungsten enters the solution to form microstructure, and a large number of tungsten particles (20-60m) are dispersed in the matrix alloy.

Heavy duty tungsten alloy syringes are ideal for shielding X-rays and X-ray gamma rays. High density tungsten shielding (60% higher than lead).
Heavy tungsten alloy shielding is mainly used in collimators, FDG containers, multi plate collimators, nuclear shielding, nuclear shielding, beam shielding, vial shielding, vial shielding, pet syringe shielding, isotope containers and other fields.
