Product Description
90WNiFe High Density Tungsten Alloy Weight Bolt
Description
Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy is an alloy based on tungsten (about 90-98%) and added with nickel, iron, copper or other metal elements. 90WNiFe High Density Tungsten Alloy Weight Bolt is a commonly used balancing weight fastener, mainly made of tungsten-nickel-iron alloy material through powder metallurgy and sintering processes, which plays the role of bearing pressure, radiation shielding and connecting parts. 90WNiFe High Density Tungsten Alloy Weight Bolt can be widely used in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, medical radiation, high temperature processing, glass melting, electric light source industry and shipbuilding. Especially in the aerospace industry, it realizes the combination of high density and mechanical strength, providing better weight distribution control for propellers, inertial systems and fluid control systems.
90WNiFe Features
(1) High specific gravity: generally 16.5-18.95g/cm3;
(2) High strength: tensile strength is 700-1000Mpa;
(3) Strong radiation absorption ability: 30-40% higher than lead, with excellent absorption ability for beta rays or X-rays
(4) High thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of tungsten alloy is 5 times that of mold steel;
(5) Low thermal expansion coefficient: only 1/2-1/3 of iron or steel;
(6) Good electrical and thermal conductivity, good weldability and processability
(7) Has certain ferromagnetism, good chemical stability, environmental protection and durability
Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy has become the main tungsten-based heavy alloy with the largest consumption. For general applications, such as counterweights, balance hammers, radiation shielding devices, etc., sintered alloys are directly used. However, when it comes to applications requiring high mechanical properties, tungsten-nickel-iron alloys require deformation processing and heat treatment to achieve strengthening.
