The magnetism of the alloy is superior to other commercial iron cobalt soft magnetic alloys. Hiperco? 50A is mainly used for magnetic cores in electrical equipment requiring high magnetic permeability under high magnetic flux density, or magnetic tape cores requiring minimum AC loss and high magnetic permeability under high induction conditions.
